So here I am all proud that I finished Athens
(in a whopping 6:09:03, mind you) and reached my goal of running a marathon at
ah-hum, "24 yrs old"...then , I come across several articles about Winter Vinecki who also finished in Athens
(in an impressive 4:03:53) and reached her goal of becoming the youngest person ever to run a marathon in
all seven continents at the age of 14. Can we say...
WOW!
So proud of this girl, especially for the
reasons why she runs. She is pure awesomeness! However, I am not going to lie...I feel like such a slacker in comparison!
Then you have
these guys, running half marathons at five and six yrs. old! It's incredible. Some people were just born to run!
